Today Bharath is celebrating the birthday of ever time Philosopher and reformer of Hinduism, the revered Sage Shree Adi Shankaracharya.This year this auspicious day cannot be celebrated grandly like in previous years as the entire world is trembling in the fear of covid 19 pandemic. In Sankara Jayanthi Message, Swami Souparnika Vijendra Puri, the national general secretary of Hindu Acharya Sabha explains us about the significance of teachings of Adi Sankara and its relavance in current situation. This holyman taught us the importance of following a life style that based on cultural heritage, rituals, devotional /spiritual values, love, compassion, Nature friendly order, cleanliness and purity. Renown American institution Temple University of Philadelphia is conducting Detailed reserches and studies on The Philosophical thesis and Monastic experiences of Adi Sankara. The texts composed by Sankaraacharya are included in curriculum of various foregin universities. It is remembered with sorrow that as the Great son of this holy land, we never payed due respect and acceptance to great works and contribution. In the auspicious day of Adi Shankara birth Swamiji wished all living beings of this earth a peaceful and pleasant time instead of current miseries.
